Kate Middleton – dramatist, playwright and pamphleteer was born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton on 9th Jan 1982 in Reading, Berkshire, England, to pilot Michael and attendee Carole Middleton. Kate Middleton has a younger sister, Philippa ("Pippa") and a younger brother, James.

Kate Middleton came from working-class stock of coal miners and builders. Her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Goldsmith, became the first member of the family to try to enhance the family's social and economic standing. Dorothy pushed her children to aim high and, as a result, Kate Middletonsmother became an airline hostess, a significantly glamorous job at the time. It was on this job that Carole met dispatcher Michael Middleton. The couple married before long. By the time Kate Middleton was born, her mother was already longing for new ways in which to climb the social ladder. In 1987, Kate Middleton’s mother founded her own mail-order party product company, with ambitions of sending her children to non-public colleges. The business was a surprise success, eventually making the Middleton family multi-millionaires.

As a result of this new-found financial gain, Kate Middleton and her siblings did not want for much. Kate Middleton attended exclusive boarding colleges, as well as St. Andrew's secondary school, Down House, and Marlborough school. However her time in private school didn't come without its problems. Kate Middleton left the exclusive Down House all-girls private school at the age of thirteen, owing to bullying and taunts from different students there. And on her first day at co-ed Marlborough, some particularly mean-spirited boys began rating incoming students on attractiveness and temperament. They gave Kate Middleton 2 out of 10. Despite the initial setbacks, however, Kate Middleton did well in her studies, passing eleven GCSEs and 3 A-level exams.

In 2001, Kate Middleton became a student at the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland the first in her family to attend the school. While in her first year at the university, Middleton was placed in the dormitory St. Salvador’s Hall, the same building as Prince William. Kate Middleton and Prince William shared many classes in their course schedule also and shortly became friends. However, while they usually shared breakfast and walked to classes together, the two weren't initially interested in each other romantically. Kate Middletonwas interested in chemical analysis senior Rupert and William was busy dealing with the press and his feelings regarding the new faculties. But in 2002, Kate Middleton appeared in an exclusive fashion-show fundraiser wearing a revealing dress. William was also a volunteer at the charity event, and became intrigued and fascinated by her.

Royal Romance of Kate Middleton

By 2002, Kate Middleton's young man had graduated. Before long, the couple parted ways over distance problems. Recently single and getting into her junior year, Kate Middleton and a number of other friends were invited to share a flat with Prince William. In 2003, Middleton and William fell into a natural romance, keeping their relationship a secret for many years.

Mostly owing to the prince's extreme distrust of the press, the couple had an agreement to not hold hands publicly, or be seen sitting together at dinner parties. It looked as if it would keep off the press for the most part. By June 2003 Kate Middleton had graduated with an honors baccalaureate in liberal arts, with no real disruptions from the press. But in 2004, Kate Middleton was caught by paparazzi while on a royal house ski trip. Her relationship with William became the topic of intense scrutiny and, by 2005 Kate Middleton was a tabloid favorite. In 2006, it was declared that Middleton would receive her own 24-hour security detail from the Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Department

In 2006, aristocrat William headed off to an academy. Kate Middletonlost her security detail, and had to face the paparazzi alone. As the girlfriend of William, finding employment was additionally difficult; the position had to be thought of respectable by the royal house, as well as permitting her the flexibility to be off at a moments' notice to be with the Prince. In 2006, Kate Middleton finally found an appropriate position as an assistant accessories customer with national consumer goods chain Jigsaw in London. It was later reported that Kate Middleton left the corporate so as to learn portrait photography.

In April 2007, Middleton and Prince William had a public split. The business had the goal of encouraging children to cook and making it easier to bake party cakes.

Marriage to Prince William

In 2010 Kate Middleton and Prince William declared their engagement. The Prince planned a vacation to Kenya, and bestowed Kate with his mother's ring. The couple then declared plans to settle in North Wales, where aristocrat William is stationed with the Royal Air Force, after their wedding. On 29thApril 2011, the couple married at Westminster in London. Kate wore a dress designed by Sarah Burton, a fact that remained a closely guarded secret till the big day. Shortly before the marriage, Queen Elizabeth presented Kate Middleton with the title of Catherine, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge.

Recent promotion

Kate Middleton made headlines in 2012, when photos of her sunbathing topless in southern France were revealed by a French magazine, Closer. Soon after, the photos were reproduced in publications in Eire and Italian Republic. As news skin regarding the photos came in, the royal family became involved in a legal battle to acquire the rights to the photos, in hopes of preventing different publications from printing them. According to The Times, the photos weren't picked up by any news organizations in the UK. The royal family won their copyrights in court: A decision ordered the French magazine to hand over the photos within twenty four hours of the court's call, according to the L.A. Times. Closer would face a daily fine of $13,000 and fines for any reprints of the photos, if it failed to fulfill the 24-hour timeline.

Royal pregnancy

On 3rd Dec 2012, after virtually a year of baby rumors and speculation, St. James Palace formally declared that Kate Middleton was pregnant. On the day of the announcement, Kate Middleton, with Prince William by her side, was hospitalized at King of Great Britain Hospital in London with acute nausea. Kate Middleton's first child with Prince William will be the Queen's third great-grandchild and, whether or not the baby is boy or a girl, will be in line to become the heir to the throne. “Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very happy to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby,” the official statement confirmed the pregnancy. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of each family are delighted with the news."
